Our bed is our most precious companion. It needs to be comfortable and the appearance has to make a statement, especially in the dorm room, because that is your child's "new home". Most dorm mattresses are twin extra long, so be sure to buy the proper sheets. Twin extra long sheets are available in many stores and in an array of colors. Your child will need at least 2 pairs of sheets, since laundering them won't be as easy as when they lived at home.
